Director Statement: My film "L'Au-delà" has been produced in a very short time at the beginning of december 2020 when Covid death rates were at it's highest level in Switzerland. The encounter with Mathieu who is working in the death chamber of a regional hospital was a unique experience. To be directly confronted with the dead bodies as consequence of this virus has changed my vision on what means loosing someone you love.
