Influence Of Transmission Probabilities
Prof. Dr. Silvia Schöneburg-Lehnert from the University of Leipzig and Prof. Dr. Felix Otto from the Max Planck Institute for Natural Sciences explain what influence changes in the probability of transmission (e.g. through hand washing) have on the modeling of pandemics. Using the example, they show how the number of reproductions changes when the probability of transmission decreases.
