Prof. Dr. Silvia Schöneburg-Lehnert from the University of Leipzig and Prof. Dr. Felix Otto from the Max Planck Institute for Natural Sciences consider the term herd immunity mathematically and explain how many people have to be immune in order to be able to speak of herd immunity.
