Visiting Scholar, Radhika Garland, joined us last year after finishing her Master's in Transnational History at the University of Geneva. From December 2018 to February 2019, Radhika worked together with our staff and students, as well as the Earth Focus Foundation to put together a short documentary overviewing climate change in the Alps. Radhika has a passion for sharing the environment and its history with young people, so in addition to creating this video with our students, she worked with the Alpine Institute to bring young people to the Alps, educate them on the effects of global climate change, and teach them how to be actors in the community of Leysin.
