From coal to renewables in energy-hungry Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe is no stranger to electricity and energy challenges. Half of households remain without access to the power grid, while the other half endures frequent blackouts. But despite being blessed with ample coal reserves, planners say the future of Zimbabwe's energy strategy lies in renewables like hydropower.
